Garth from New Zealand sent these pics of his mother and dad, Elva and John Henderson and their speedway Norton. Both pictures were taken during the 1947-48 season at the Western Springs speedway in Auckland. The engine is clearly Norton and the height of the barrel suggests a Model 19; the shape suggests that the engine dates from the early 1930s. Frame and wheels seem to be from another make than Norton. Does anyone know more about this motorcycle?
