Norton in Australia

-JdK; from a reader- Here in West Australia we have an annual ride between Boyanup and Nannup through some extremely interesting and beautiful countryside that includes rolling hills, some steeper ones, farming country and tall timber forests covering about 150 miles. The road conditions vary to keep it interesting, but mostly easy riding with a few challenges for the Veterans. The weekend is called “The Roaring Twenties” ride and is open to all pre 1931 bikes.

There were more than 40 bikes with a very low attrition rate. All Nortons completed the entire run I think. Of most interest to those that visit this site were the Nortons, but there were a couple of early saddle tank examples as well.
