-SG- Back in May 2014 we had an interesting posting about Guthrie winning the 1934 Junior TT at 79.16 mph. Jimmie Simpson was second - also Norton mounted of course - at 76.10mph. I have recently been sent a print of Guthrie during the event - to me it epitomises the very real effort he put into his riding throughout his career! It was his first Norton TT win.
