SG- In a recent posting I mentioned Arthur Bourne's recently published memoirs. I have recently been given a copy and am pleased to see the cover shows him in 1929 - not long after he became editor of The Motor Cycle - mounted on a CS1 in the Land's End to John O'Groats Reliability Trial. The machine was, I guess, on loan from the works as it has a Birmingham registration number. This is a very interesting book and though not that cheap at £25, well worth it! Publishers are Matador Books.
