-JdK- This photo was sent by Brendan in Victoria BC, Canada. Brendan's father recently found this photograph of his father Arthur McAreavy, likely taken in Belfast around 1928.
The registration was issued in Belfast. The Norton is a late 1920s OHV Model, likely a Model 18. The wide tank, narrow front mudguard, flat mudguard stays and tank top toolbox suggest a sporty machine so it could also be a Model 25; not enough detail to be sure though.
