SG- Dunlop rubber saddles were a popular fitment to sporting machines pre-war - and post war for that matter - and
Dennis has again turned up trumps by sending scans of the relevant pages of Dunlop's 1931 brochure. Nortons used such saddles on Models 30/40. Note that the rivets that hold the cover should be black.
Tony in UK has been making replicas for some years now - the size he makes is just over 13" long by 15" wide - pretty well the equivalent of Model F69/5X - and it appears this was the size fitted to Inters during the mid thirties. Anyone interested should contact Tony direct at tony@nortonnut.com
