-JdK- Piet at the 1937 Dutch TT in which he came 5th after White (1st) and Frith (2nd), both on Nortons and Mellors and Thomas on Velocettes. The chap behind him is Gerbrand van Pelt who became famous for racing and selling Harley Davidsons so the agricultural machine in the background may be his. Notice the Morgan behind the Harley and the OHV Norton on the right.
