-SG- This is a 1937 Works bike. The front brake and the oil tank - with the big rearward extension with the filler cap on it - are different from those on the 1936 models; and of course the 1938 Works bikes had teles.
-Jon- This picture is at the North West 200. The RUC (Royal Ulster Constabulary) uniforms are a giveaway.
-Richard- The chap in the white overalls is Bill Mewis, head race mechanic which would mean these are the full works machines.
