-SG- Here's a couple of pics from a French magazine 'Moto Revue' from 1927 and 1928 respectively, depicting early CS1 racers. The effect of time on the news-print has contributed to the lack of clarity but enough can be seen to recognise the 'original' lower bevel cover shape of OP8638 and, in the 1928 shot, the slightly changed shape of the cover and the works 7 inch front brake. Obviously, the works riders found the 8 inch Enfield front brake a bit lacking. Works machines with registration numbers OP8638 and OP8645 appear in various period photos, some of which have appeared before on this site.
