c1932 Model 40 Norton

-JdK- The photo above was found on the website of a travel agency advertising trips to Kaapstad, South Africa. Instead of the usual WD16H that you expect to see there, this one looks like a genuine and very desirable early 1930s Model 40 racer. Note the rare 7" Enfield front hub and Heavy Duty TT Webbs that suggest a c1932 model. Further note the tall front engine plates, the early Sturmey Archer gearbox, wrap-around oiltank and rubber Dunlop saddle.
